Production is tentatively scheduled for 1-3 shoots between June and October; however, part-time work will begin immediately given the creative nature of this film’s development process. Specific responsibilities and time commitment will be outlined in detail during interview but will include research and networking with the local green community.

Candidate must have pulse on current environmental issues and possess excellent written, oral, administrative and research skills. Ideal for someone who enjoys community, networking and teamwork. Background/interest in journalism or desk-top publishing a major plus.

Candidates must be willing to work at least 30 hours per week. Qualified applicants will be well-spoken, comfortable on the phone, and able to work extensively with Microsoft Office to provide administrative support.

Synopsis: Based on a true story, a young married couple gets more than they bargained for with their new puppy, Marley, whose hilarious antics turn their lives upside-down over the course of the next fourteen years as they build their family, all the while reminding them what’s really important in life.

The film will shoot first in Miami then move to the Philadelphia area for 11 days of filming from approximately May 12 until May 27.

We are an active film and video production company that produces a variety of commercial and corporate projects as well as feature films from script to screen.

This is a NON-PAID internship. In exchange for a 3 month commitment, interns will receive a minimum of $5,000.00 worth of our unique and well-regarded manufacturer-authorized training courses in digital media. Training classes are available for Avid, Final Cut Pro, Macromedia, Pro Tools, Adobe and Discreet, just to name a few.

All scheduling, administrative, reception and event production interns must have good computer (Microsoft Office), writing, speaking and phone skills; while IT interns must have basic skills in both Macintosh and Windows platforms to assist with classroom set-up and helping to maintain our office and classroom systems.

Prerequisites include preferably being enrolled in a college communications or related program, in good academic standing and with a specific interest in gaining experience in the entire video production process.

MikeLemonCasting will be returning to their open door, open call procedure. This means they will be seeing and evaluating all types of talent, regardless of experience. There is no need to call for a reservation. Their open call is held on the first Wednesday of every month from 2-4 PM.

Talent will be seen in order of arrival between 2-4 PM. There is no need to come any earlier, as talent will not be allowed into the building until open call begins. Also, if you have not signed in by 4:00PM, you will not be seen.

• If you want to be considered for principal work in films, please have a 1-2 minute monologue prepared. The monologue should be from a published play or screenplay. No poems, “Gettysburg Addresses,” etc. please.
• If you wish to be considered for commercial work only, commercial copy will be provided for those who have a professional headshot and resume.
• Upon arrival you will be asked to fill out a Talent Information Form. If you would like to download the form, fill it out in advance, and bring it with you
• It is preferable that talent have 5 copies of a professional headshot with resume attached
• If you do not have professional pictures, resumes, a prepared monologue, or practical experience, please don’t let that stop you. You can bring a current snapshot of yourself and you will be seen in a group setting where you will be given information on how to prepare for an open call and what they look for in their talent. Your picture will be placed in their “extras’ only” file. It’s then up to you to take the next steps, gather the necessary materials and prepare for the next open call in order to be seen privately by one of their casting directors.
• They do not see any children or teens under age 18 at their open calls. Teens 13-17 are seen at their Teen Open Call. Children under 13 are only seen by an appointment made through an agent or manager. For Teen Open Call (ages 13-17) go to the site.
• Actors with professional representation may also contact their respective agents for an appointment time for another day.

Based on their needs, your type, and the quality of your read, you’ll be put on file either for principal auditions or for extra work. You will be given a ‘report card’ telling you how you’re being filed with instructions and suggestions for the future.

All talent please note: Most bookings in the tri-state area are usually inaccessible to public transportation. You must be able to provide your own transportation to your bookings.

The Cameraperson will be making field trips to different parts of the U.S, along with the director and other crew members. Either by driving or by flying, the trips will be done for couple days in different times of the week or the month and the expenses of the transportation, accommodation and food will be provided by the company during the trips.

Everest Productions has three major weekly shows that need different cameramen to go on the field, shoot the sit down interviews, shoot different b-rolls of the city they go to, and shoot different b-rolls of the subject or the topic on that particular episode. There may be additional shots, necessary for each episode.

The cameraperson may provide his/her own professional camera for the service, however they have 4 XDCAM disc cameras and a Panasonic DV Camera (P2) that we can provide. They work on the digital platform with digital cameras.

Experience is not a must, however it is a plus.

Compensation will be negotiable for each project as the deal will be project-based with the cameramen.
